We went to the Beach House during our weekend getaway from Sonoma to the central coast. Okay, I'm just going to say, for our amazing, incredible, unbelievable stunning ocean view, this restaurant gets 5 stars alone!! Well, perhaps if the food & service were awful, maybe not, but, man, there was no beating the view from our table! They had an early bird wine/beer selection for dirt cheap and a $5.00 shrimp appetizer. I kept telling my husband, "Can you believe this place? This view, these drinks, for THESE prices?!" The waiter seemed a bit slammed with tables, but sitting there drinking my wine, enjoying the view, I really had no problem with it! He was still very nice, just very busy and I could see why! So, it gets better. They had a HUGE selection of early bird entrees for just under $10.00?! $10.00??! This has got to be some special or soft opening for the restaurant. I've been to a lot of ocean front restaurants living all over California, and have never seen prices like that. And, to me the "early bird time" is prime time with the views. Going after 6:30, you would totally miss it!

Slow-Braised Lamb Poutine is shoestring fries, lamb, green peppercorn gravy, melted cheese curds, and fried sage. The fries are perfectly fried to a golden brown - crispy outside and tender inside. The braised lamb is delicate, tender, and so flavorful. Green peppercorn gravy is onolicious and adds depth to the dish. Fried sage on top is a nice touch.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Beach House this evening - don't be fooled by the 3.5 star Yelp façade! We lucked out and landed a window seat, albeit past sunset but still a gorgeous view. Our server, Donna, was an absolute saint and took great care of us during dinner! The fresh bread that comes with the meal is really tasty. Very crusty with that perfect warm, fluffy inside. We ordered wine for the most part, but my boyfriend did get their "Orange Sherbet on the Rocks" cocktail that was very tasty. A few of these will certainly put a smile on your face :) For dinner, our party of four went with the bacon-wrapped meatloaf, rigatoni with basil cream, special short rib ravioli, and their soup du jour - roasted red pepper and tomato with a side Caesar salad. The star of the evening was the special short rib ravioli. If this is being served you MUST get it. You won't be disappointed! We split a grand marnier creme brûlée for dessert which was decadent and creamy. This group will definitely come back to the Beach House for the wonderful service and tasty food.

I took my wife and her mother for her Birthday. The service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered a charbroiled angus beef burger with parmesan fries, my wife had the sand dabs and my mother -in-law had the pok tenderloin. All the meals were cooked perfectly as well as the tomato/basil soup. Mom loved her Birthday dinner as did my wife and I. We will definitely come back

You have to select "Excellent" to describe the decor. After all, the view is the beautiful Monterey Bay! We were a party of six, and each of us loved our dinner. I had the most tender hangar steak drizzled with a peppercorn sauce. Try the appetizer shrimp, spicy and yummy. If you like chicken, it was cooked perfectly, and again, accompanied by a delicious sauce. Alfredo was our server, personable and attentive, a very nice guy. We had so much fun tasting each other's food! We reside locally and intend to return soon.

Just finished their "Sunset Special". Must be seated by 5:30, order by 6. Prices half or less than regular. Was recommended by a "local". 1st, reservations required. If you just show up at 5, you probably won't be seated in time. 2nd, entrees are the real deal, not budget mass cooked. King salmon was perfectly grilled, slightly under cooked in middle and creamy in texture. Risotto was creamy and rich. Bread was crispy and warm, salad was great. Desserts looked great but we were too full to try any. Server was great, wonderful experience. Also, as it is winter, we watched the sun set as we ate.

Beautiful Views from this Restaurant located on Lovers Point in Pacific Grove. Great selection of excellent entrees on the "Sunset Supper" menu. ($9.90 entrees if seated by 5:30). My wife thought it was the best salmon dinner she ever had. I had the meatloaf, outstanding! With the attentive and friendly service, it's a winner on all counts. Be sure to make reservations, this place is always full.

Came here for dinner when my boyfriend and I were visiting Pacific Grove for the weekend. It's a fairly new restaurant, with an amazing view over looking the water... Anyway, our waitress Jen was fantastic. She walked us through the menu, told us her favorites, gave some great recommendations, and was downright fun and approachable. Everything you'd want in a waitress. The drink prices were great, especially for dinner. Not on the expensive side... I'd definitely come here again

Wow! Where do I begin? This place is unique, and spectacular. A gem of Pacific Grove, it is worth calling ahead to reserve a table, because this place is beyond popular. I visited the Beach House to celebrate my 30th birthday and I'm so glad I did. That evening and the food will no doubt remain etched in my mind. Let's start with service, this to me- is of the utmost importance when considering a fine dining experience. Our waiter Alfredo was absolutely incredible. It is clear that this establishment values customer satisfaction and wants people to feel at home when they dine. Alfredo took care of all our needs and was so personable. He kept our drinks full and our bellies too! Not to mention, he had a wonderful sense of humor that kept the table cracking up all night. Now, lets talk about the food! For appetizers we started with the firecracker shrimp, a favorite of the Beach House clientele, and I certainly understand why. It was a full flavored explosion of delight as I bit into the perfectly cooked shrimp. These scrumptious sea bits were bathed in some sort of glistening golden sauce which should be bottled and distributed. I'm absolutely sure these shrimps alone could foster world peace. Then we tried the asparagus ravioli and

I have been there twice during the Happy Hour Menu. You must be seated by 5:30pm. I had a delicious salmon dinner for $9.90 and wine is $2.90. The view of the bay is awesome. As a local, I feel on vacation! The actual bar area has limited seating.
